4-14 Kid's Zones

We run weekly Kids Zones that enable children to play and develop in safe environments and this programme has been decentralised to 12 areas around Pietermaritzburg. Each week an average of 150 children are impacted in the life areas of psychosocial support, sports and recreation, life skills and homework support for our children.

Children's Holiday Programme

Since 2008, BCA has held successful Children's Holiday Programmes which enable children to play and develop in safe environments for 7 years with attendance of more than 400 children per year from across Pietermaritzburg. From 2012, we decentralised this programme. It is now being held in 12 additional areas. In 2014, we had the highest attendance ever with over 800 children attending.
